That jacket?! Oh why that jacket? You know the Sex and the City episode where Carrie strongarms everyone into going to Atlantic City so they can all be together for Charlotte’s birthday despite the fact that Atlantic City is the last place Charlotte would want to be period, let alone celebrate her birthday there? In that episode, Charlotte gets so depressed at turning thirty something that she breaks down and buys a horrible, sparkly dress at the casino store and basically gives up (again) and decides to be an AC ho for about twenty minutes. I never believed that AC hotel boutiques could be that bad until, a few weeks ago, I saw the carnage for myself when I got talked into spending a few days there. The first day was fine, I went to the outlets and got some cute stuff but the second day there was a mini hurricane and I was confined to the hotel so I went to the hotel boutique just to see if the horror of that episode was real.
It was because I’m almost 100% certain that I saw that jacket there.
